ABOUT SKYACCESS
SkyAccess is a marketplace for private jet charter and empty leg flights. Around 40% of private flights fly empty, repositioning with nobody on board. That inventory has always sat behind brokers, phone calls, and quotes you had to ask for. We put it in a search bar: real flights, real prices, booked directly with Part 135 certified operators. We sell whole aircraft, never seats.
We are early and small. There is no content committee, no legacy calendar to inherit, and no agency layer between you and what ships. There is a brand system, a stream of real flight inventory that changes daily, and a lot of room.
What we believe: no one else should decide what is possible for you. We show people what is already there. The jets were just the first door.
THE ROLE
You start your day inside the feed. You are studying what is actually performing right now: the carousel that got 40,000 saves, the thread that got quoted 300 times, the hook that made someone stop scrolling. Not just in aviation. In luxury travel, in real estate, in watches, in finance, in whatever corner of the internet is currently teaching people how to hold attention. You pull those posts apart until you can explain exactly why they worked, then you rebuild that structure around SkyAccess.
Then you make the thing. You write the hook slide, the eight slides after it, and the caption. You design every slide yourself in our brand system so it looks like SkyAccess and not like a template. On X you do the same work in a different shape: threads, image posts, and screenshots built to be quoted. Something goes live on both accounts most days.
The hard part is not the making. It is the honesty afterward. You will publish things you were sure would work that will do nothing, and you will need to look at the saves, shares, and profile visits, decide what actually caused the miss, and change the format instead of defending it. Volume plus judgment is the whole job. People who need two weeks and three approvals to ship one post will find this uncomfortable.
You will work directly with the founder. When you see a format working on Tuesday, you can have our version of it live on Wednesday. That speed is the reason this role exists.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Format research and intelligence
Maintain a living swipe file of high performing carousels, threads, and image posts, organized by what makes them work: hook type, slide count, pacing, contrast, and payoff.
Run a weekly teardown of three to five standout posts and turn each into a format we can actually test, with a clear reason it should transfer to our audience.
Track what is changing on both platforms: what the algorithm is rewarding, what is getting throttled, what formats are getting tired.
Bring formats from outside aviation. Most of our best ideas will not come from other jet accounts.
Instagram
Write and design carousels end to end: cover hook, slide copy, sequencing, final CTA slide, and caption.
Turn live flight inventory, including weekly empty leg drops, into posts people save and send to a friend.
Own the hook. The first slide decides whether the other nine get seen, and you will write ten versions before picking one.
Build captions that carry search terms and route names naturally, and drive comment based CTAs.
X
Adapt carousel thinking into the formats X actually rewards: threads, standalone image posts, and quotable one liners.
Repurpose strong Instagram content into X native versions rather than cross posting the same file.
Post consistently enough to build a recognizable voice on the account, not just occasional bursts.
Design and brand craft
Build every slide yourself in Canva or Figma inside the SkyAccess system: Tucson Red, Simple Tan, True Black, Inter, photography led.
Hold the line on restraint. Our posts should look like a brand with a point of view, not a stock template with text on top.
Grow the component library over time so recurring formats get faster to produce without getting stale.
Measurement
Report weekly on saves, shares, profile visits, follows, and comment volume, and say plainly what you are repeating and what you are retiring.
Run deliberate tests: same content, different hook, different slide count, different opening image.
Kill formats that stop working, including ones you invented.
WHO YOU ARE
You are the person who screenshots a post that stopped you mid scroll and immediately starts figuring out why it worked. You probably already have a folder of them. You care more about whether something performs than whether it was your idea.
Format obsessed. You can look at a post that did huge numbers and explain the mechanics behind it: what the hook promised, where the tension sat, why slide four made people swipe again. This is the one trait that cannot be trained.
You ship. You would rather publish five good posts this week than one perfect one next month, because you know the fifth one teaches you something the first four could not.
You have taste. Your work looks considered. You know what to leave out, you respect a grid, and you can tell the difference between clean and empty.
You write short. You can get a full idea into six words on a slide and make those six words feel inevitable.
You are unsentimental about your own work. A flop is information. You go find the reason, adjust, and post again.
You are self directed. Nobody is going to hand you a content calendar. You build it, defend it, and change it when the data says to.
You are genuinely curious about the subject. Routes, aircraft types, why a Miami to Aspen leg comes back empty. The people who follow us can tell when the person posting actually finds this interesting.
Backgrounds we are open to: you may have grown your own account to a real following, ghostwritten threads for a founder, run a meme or niche interest page, designed thumbnails and packaging for a YouTube channel, made carousels for an e-commerce or creator led brand, laid out a newsletter, or done social for a restaurant group, a watch dealer, or a real estate team. None of that is aviation and none of it needs to be. If your work is good, we want to see it.
REQUIREMENTS
A portfolio of social content you personally made, with the numbers attached. We want to see the posts and what they did.
You can design in Canva or Figma well enough to take a slide from blank to finished without a designer.
You can write a hook, and you can show us ten different versions of one.
You understand how Instagram and X differ in what they reward, and you can explain why a format that works on one may not transfer to the other.
You are comfortable being measured on output and performance, and comfortable working in public where every result is visible.
