From Classroom Capstone to Client Deployment.

Armed with their MOA (memorandum of agreement)the BSIT 4th-year students are now entering the exciting stage of deploying their systems to their target clients. The System Development and Business Informatics track groups have already completed 100% of their capstone mock-up presentations. While some students are still preparing for deployment, others have already begun testing and rolling out their systems to clients.

These systems will remain in use until the final defense this upcoming October 2026, where clients will be invited to assess the applications firsthand.

To keep the momentum sharp, each group’s project manager submits a weekly achievement report, closely monitored by Mr. Marvin Aungon, one of the capstone faculty and their advisers.

🚀 F1StackMind Proudly Presents CITE360: Now Ready with EWS and AGAPAY!

F1StackMind is proud to introduce CITE360, a digital platform developed to strengthen student support and academic success within the College of Information Technology Education (CITE).

CITE360 is now officially ready with its two core modules: the Early Warning System (EWS) and AGAPAY.

The Early Warning System (EWS) is a proactive monitoring platform that helps identify students who may need academic, behavioral, attendance, financial, or psychosocial support. Through weekly adviser assessments using the Green, Amber, and Red status indicators, the Dean, Program Head, Student Learning Coordinators (SLC), Active Learning Coordinators (ALC), and intervention teams can respond early and provide timely assistance—ensuring that no student is left behind.

Meanwhile, AGAPAY is a mentorship initiative that pairs fourth-year students with first-year students, fostering guidance, support, and a stronger sense of community throughout their college journey.

This milestone was made possible through the dedication of the development team:

Project Manager: Nicole Lampa
Lead Developer: Maverick Barrientos
Developers: Alex Gustilo, Luegi Rivera
DevOps Engineer: Kurt Ellie Parel

CITE360 reflects F1StackMind's commitment to using technology to create meaningful solutions that empower both students and faculty.

Blocks Before Brilliance: Manga Warm‑Ups for BSIT Animators

The BSIT 4 students under the Animation Track flexed their drawing muscles in a quick-fire test of skill. Tasked with sketching manga-style basics, they revisited the foundations of anatomy through a 30‑minute doodle session.

The warm‑up challenge? Break down the head into blocks and shapes, then rough out the essential features. It wasn’t about perfection -- it was about sharpening instincts and loosening the creative hand. Just a playful kick‑off to school year 2627, setting the tone for weekly drawing drills designed to hone digital animation mastery.

Guiding them through this creative grind is none other than Jom “John Joms” Andrade, their adviser and mentor in the art of turning sketches into stories.

BSIT 3 Students Advance to Capstone 2

The BSIT 3 students of the College of Information Technology Education at the University of Iloilo are weaving their capstone projects this summer. Having completed Capstone 1, the preliminary requirement, they now proceed to Capstone 2.

From April to May 2026, students gather with their groups to refine their UI/UX designs, documentation, and system development. Weekly inventory checks ensure steady progress. The summer capstone completion aims to ease the workload of incoming fourth-year students, allowing them to focus more on client engagement.

Tasks are divided into three parts: documentation and GitHub updates handled by the documenters; design, workflow, interface, and diagrams managed by the UI/UX teams; and overall scalability with backend processes assigned to the lead programmers.

University of Iloilo’s F1StackMind Joins 2026 INNOVEX

Innovation is not just about technology , it’s about people coming together to push boundaries and reimagine possibilities. This year, the F1StackMind team from the College of Information Technology Education at the University of Iloilo is stepping into the spotlight once again as they join the 2026 INNOVEX.

This year theme "Integrating AI into an Ecosystem"

For those unfamiliar, INNOVEX (or InnoVEX) is widely known as Asia’s premier startup and innovation exhibition platform. But within the PHINMA Education Network, it takes on a special role: a stage for students to showcase their creativity, technical skills, and collaborative spirit.

This marks the second consecutive year that the University of Iloilo has participated. Last year, the university proudly celebrated the success of Mr. Bonni Franco, a third-year BSIT student, who earned the Best Presenter Award -- a testament to the talent and determination nurtured within the institution.

The F1StackMind team is now gearing up to continue that legacy. Their participation reflects not only a drive for excellence but also a commitment to representing Iloilo on a bigger stage. With fresh ideas, teamwork, and the passion to innovate, they aim to inspire both peers and mentors alike.

Capstone 2 Inventory Check : The Final THROTTLE

Waiting for graduation isn’t just a day, it’s the day. The BSIT 4th year know, it’s not about the struggle (that’s surface-level noise), it’s about the patience, grit, and resiliency that finally cash in.

Now, BSIT 4 ,faces their last quest: compiling capstone projects and research work. It’s the ultimate grind, checking repositories, polishing documents, and locking down endpoint deployments.

And then? The curtain call. The diploma drops. The moment they’ve been waiting.
