The Don Bosco Amateur Radio Club Cebu was founded by a group of young 3rd year students in 1995. but in 2006 the group was disbanded due to the resignation of the club moderator and the lack of interest of students due to the fast pace of technology which they consider radio as low-tech. but in 2012 a small group of 2nd year students mostly the senior scouts decided to reincarnate the group. in 20
13 it started as a "pilot" club with just 10 members most of it are senior scouts. in 2014 with the approval of the Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO) and the go signal of the Asst. Principal our club is finally went in to full bast. now we generated 4 licensed members and about 30 members with the help of other local clubs in Cebu.
