SUCCESSFUL REPAIR!

Our very own Canon G2010 is back in action! 💪

This unit serves as both our personal printer and service unit, and after being stored for years, it needed some serious TLC.

Issues Encountered:
• Faded printouts and missing lines due to clogged Black and Color printheads
• Missing output tray
• Full waste ink pad with ink leakage
• Required waste ink counter reset
• Heavy dust buildup and foreign objects inside the printer

After careful diagnosis, thorough cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair, this printer is now printing properly again and looks almost brand new!

Aside from a small dent on the top cover that doesn’t affect functionality, this unit is now fully operational and ready for service once more.

At LS PrinTech Pro PH, we don’t just replace parts, we take the time to understand the root cause of the problem and restore printers to their best possible condition.

The nozzle check test says it all. Clean lines. Complete colors. Quality output.

And the project doesn’t stop here.

We’re currently working on another Canon G1010 that we purchased second-hand. This one will require:

• Printhead replacement
• Encoder strip replacement
• Encoder disc replacement
• Waste ink pad replacement
• Output tray replacement
• Troubleshooting and repair of unwanted printing noise

We believe our technician can bring this unit back to life as well once the necessary parts arrive and time permits. 😄

For now, our priority remains serving our valued clients and helping bring their printers back to life first. 🩷

This is one of the most common misconceptions among printer users, especially when the issue appears to be a “minor” error that only requires a basic repair.

As someone speaking on behalf of professional technicians who advocate for fair and reasonable pricing, it’s important to understand that service fees are not solely based on the number of minutes or hours spent repairing the printer.

What clients are paying for is the technician’s knowledge, experience, diagnostic skills, tools, and ability to accurately identify and resolve the problem.

A skilled technician may be able to diagnose and repair an issue quickly because of years of experience handling different printer brands, models, and technical concerns. The fact that a repair was completed in 30 minutes or an hour does not necessarily mean it was simple; it may simply mean the technician knew exactly what to look for and how to fix it efficiently.
