Our GIS team is currently on-scene at the fire incident in Parola, Binondo (District 3, Manila), utilizing aerial assessments to evaluate the progression of the incident and measure the full scope of the damage.

This side-by-side video highlights the operational capabilities of the DJI Matrice 30T. By displaying the droneโ€™s thermal imaging next to standard video, it demonstrates how we can see past thick smoke to analyze the situation rapidly and support ongoing response operations on the ground.

Recently, the team participated in a training on Artificial Intelligence (AI) aimed at enhancing the capabilities of our Geographic Information System (GIS). Ang mga drone ay may kakayahang magsagawa ng thermal imaging at nilagyan ng speaker at spotlight, na makatutulong sa mabilis na paghahanap, pagtukoy, at agarang pagtugon sa mga biktima sa panahon ng mga sakuna.

Ayon sa pamahalaang lungsod, ang paggamit ng makabagong teknolohiya ay bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapalakas ng disaster preparedness at emergency reponse capabilities ng Maynila, upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng bawat Manileรฑo.
