Dear Me,
I know you donât always say it out loud, but you carry a lot in your head.
You think ahead. You plan. You try to make things stable before you even take the first step. You like understanding how things work, because uncertainty doesnât sit well with you. And in your own quiet way, you try to stay in control of things that are often not fully controllable.
But hereâs something you rarely admit:
Youâve been doing better than you give yourself credit for.
Not because everything has gone smoothlyâbut because you keep going even when things arenât clear, even when results are slow, even when you feel like you should already be further ahead by now. That persistence matters more than you think.
You donât need to be âaheadâ of anyone. You donât need to have everything figured out before you move. Life doesnât really work that way, no matter how much planning you do. And thatâs not a flaw in youâthatâs just how life is built.
Thereâs a version of you thatâs always chasing âenough.â Enough knowledge, enough progress, enough security. But maybe what you actually need isnât moreâitâs recognition of whatâs already there.
Youâve learned things the hard way. Youâve adapted. Youâve figured things out step by step without anyone laying it out perfectly for you. That says something about you that you often overlook: youâre capable, even in uncertainty.
And itâs okay if youâre still figuring things out. Youâre not late. Youâre not behind. Youâre in progressâlike everyone else, even if it doesnât always look the same from the outside.
So when things feel heavy or unclear, remember this:
You donât have to rush your life to prove itâs working. Youâre already living it.
And youâre doing fine, even on the days you donât feel like you are.
â Me
