Please be advised that there is currently an ongoing issue affecting the EAC-C2C submarine cable system. The C2C Hong Kong segment is undergoing maintenance, while the C2C Singapore segment is currently down.
The EAC-C2C cable system is used by major telecommunications companies and network carriers serving the Philippines, including Telstra, Converge, Globe, PLDT, and our main upstream provider.
As a result of the disruption, some international traffic is being rerouted through alternative network paths. This may cause slower speeds, higher latency (ping), or intermittent connectivity, particularly when accessing international websites, applications, online games, and other overseas services.
StarLine Internet is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to optimize our network routes to minimize the impact on our subscribers.
