Good design is not built by adding more effects. It is built by making better decisions.
Filters, shadows, strokes, and distortions can feel exciting at first, but they can also hide a weak idea. Before adding style, ask: Is this helping the message, or just decorating the problem?
Strong work starts with a clear concept, thoughtful type, and purposeful layout. Effects should support the idea—not rescue it.
When the idea is solid, the design doesn’t need to shout. It already knows what it’s saying. Need more design wisdom? Follow our page for more!
