For the past months I wasn't able to show up so I can focus on my client's business. I was trying my best to give some time for my own social media but I was fighting myself the entire time.

Can you relate? I actually fight myself almost every day. And now I learned my lesson and got the help I need to prioritize my own business as well.

This is what I'm doing for my client's social media and I know the importance of showing up, be consistent, and do the work because that’s where long-term success comes from.

This is true in your personal life, and it’s true for your business.

I knew some fitness & health coaches who told me, “I’ve posted for days or weeks but I’m not growing on Instagram/Facebook.” Man, I know. That’s not how it works.

So many things in our lives just take time. So, don’t get discouraged when things don’t work out as soon as you’re hoping. Cheer yourself on, even when it’s hard to do it.

𝗬𝗲𝘀! 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 🔗𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿!

So many health and fitness business owners thought the link sticker would be this magic pill to grow their business.

But you’ve had it for a while now, and no one is clicking those links.. 😔

Talk about a buzz kill.

I hate to break it to you... but you can’t just throw a random link into a story and expect leads and sales.

It takes strategy!

Every business should approach them differently depending on their goals, but here are a few tips to keep in mind!

⚔️ Never put a link in the first slide, warm up your audience first!

⚔️ Send people to the EXACT link, not just your website.

⚔️ Don’t always link to your product or service throw in other interesting links too. (fitness or health articles, podcasts link, products you love)

⚔️ Don’t put a link on every slide! Quality > quantity with link stickers!

Let’s break down these three analytics:

These numbers are from ONE week of solid growth, engagement and strategy. Content creation is not even part of it yet.

No matter your account size - your numbers are telling you something! They are showing you if your strategy is reaching people, they tell you who is engaging with you and they provide education on what your audience wants to see!

This client went from previous months of being in the negative to high numbers!

Positive numbers are the goal you should be striving for! 1% growth or 480% growth - GROWTH is the goal because growth = awareness and connection

This was a HUGE win for this client!

I just celebrate my 1st year of running my social media marketing agency a month ago - which means I've been around the block and can tell you a story! Like this one:

This particular client started off great. He knew who his audience was, he met deadlines consistently and I enjoyed working with him.

But then he started getting busier and busier.

He was booking more clients (which was the goal), but then I was left in the dust.

He ignored the deadlines I gave him and he wasn’t keeping up with the tasks we’d agreed were his responsibility. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With the bits of free time he did have, he made sure to let me know that he was unhappy and disappointed with our downward momentum.

I was supposed to be keeping up with his socials for him, but he wasn’t giving me anything to work with. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m not normally one to trash clients or name names, but this one, well… it’s something I need to warn you about.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The worst social media management client I’d ever had… was me. 🙇🏻‍♂️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When I first went full-time in my SMM business, I pushed my own content to the backburner because I was so busy working for my clients and trying to manage my personal life. (Sound familiar?)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🤯 And then I realized - I needed to treat myself like I treated my clients.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I learned to make sure that I was working ON my business instead of just IN my business. That’s where sustainable growth comes in. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⚔️ 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀? ⚔️

This is the questions I get a lot so I figured I should share the answer with everyone!

🛡️ My #1 mission: To help health and fitness coaches saves their time while increasing their online presence and leads without experiencing entrepreneurial burnout through my social media strategy.

It's not just about finding leads, but about keeping them loved & happy for long-term results. 📈

So here's what you need to know:

1️⃣ Go where your clients are. Look at your ideal clients' social media profiles see who they are interacting with, who they are following and what actions they are taking

2️⃣ Get their attention by leading with FREE no-strings attached value. What's the BIGGEST struggle you solve that has a quick solution? Help them learn how to do that through lead magnet, free consultation or live Q&A's etc.

3️⃣ Nurture the relationship with time & more free value. Keep in contact with them and share free tips and behind the scenes - whether this is in your stories, emails or posts.

4️⃣ Pitch (without being salesly!) Let them know you'll still be friends even if they say no, it takes a load of the pressure off and they'll feel much more comfortable.

5️⃣ If they say no, have a follow up plan! Ask if you can check back in a few days / weeks / next quarter, then follow through.

🛡️𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀?🛡️

This entrepreneurship thing is difficult 💯

From not feeling like we're doing enough to working so many hours that we feel emotionally drained at the end of the day.

In my first few months, I took on SO many clients because that feeling of being able to earn as much income as possible, with minimal overhead, gave me a sense of security that I'd never had before.

I wasn't limited to a bi-weekly paycheck at a set amount.

I was able to work from home by choice.

But I was also EXHAUSTED.

I had to work so many hours to keep up with all of my clients.

I had bootstrapped everything to keep my overhead down, which meant a lot of the ways I was running my business weren't the most efficient.

I was SO fearful that the financial security I had created would all come tumbling down that I hoarded everything I made, too anxious to invest in anything.

So, what changed? 👉 Me!

I realized I was still operating out of fear and survival mode, when I didn't need to be.

I invested in myself - I joined a valuable community, I bought programs and courses, I paid for automation and systems, and I force myself to keep limited working hours so that I can have the time I need to rest and recharge.

I reduced the number of clients I could take on and increased my prices.

We didn't become entrepreneurs to let our businesses run our lives.

Take care of yourself and build your survival kit 💪🏼🙂

“𝗟𝗲'𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁”

So you’ve decided to make your life easier and hire a social media manager (👋🏼 it's me!) What’s next?

1️⃣ Have plenty of photos ready to go (20-30 is ideal)! Instagram especially is a visual platform so good photos are KEY. Having a bank of them helps ME create content that is eye catching.

2️⃣ Know your business goals. What do you have going on in the near future? Who are we trying to attract? A busy season, a new product launch, etc should all be considered when creating your content so your people know all about the newness.

3️⃣ And you’ll need an understanding that social media is a LONG game. You have to be realistic in your goals and know that establishing a presence on social will not happen overnight. My job is to make sure plenty of quality leads are putting their eyes on your page - but on average it takes 3-6 months to really see the fruits of our labor.

🎉 Once you have all those, you are ready to GO! I come in, take over and you can get back to doing the things in your business that you really enjoy.
