Gaming pc circa 2010. AMD Athlon X3 Rana unlocked to Phenom X4 B40 3.0 Ghz, no level 3 cache, using ASRock core unlocker mobo. Sapphire 7850 1 Gb 256 bit. It was very hot it needs a large processor HSF as pictured below, Antec Kuhler with 8 heatpipes and 120mm fan, 8 Gb ram, korean 600 watt true-rated-psu. It rocks !!! 👍👍👍

Even with it's issues, criticism and controversies, it won 300 GOTY awards.
Fans hated Joel's brutal killing, playing Abbey, Joel's killer as one of the main character, the LGBTQ issues ( Lev, Ellie, Abbey's masculine physique) , Dina running around pregnant, killing infecteds hahaha! Even the spoilers, Ellie didn't kill Abbey at the end of the game awwww! 😁😁😁

After six years I was finally able to play The Last Of Us II Remastered on pc. This game went out on PS4 in 2020 and just last year 2025 it was released on pc as a remastered version.
My old i5 8th gen with an RX570 (1080p king @ 60fps) gaming pc was lately out of commission so I used my older i3 6th gen with GTX960 to play and surprisingly it can play at low setting and with 1280x720 resolution @ 30fps (sweet spot hahaha! 😁).
The only thing is, it takes too long to load.. Shader compilation takes about 4-5 mins for hdd and 1 minute or less for ssd. SSD is recommended for faster loading times.
Tweaking system requirements is a skill you have to learn when you operate a gaming pc shop for 15 years hehehe! 😁

You can still save your malfunctioning hard disk drive.
Look for burned contacts in the board. Clean with WD-40. Wipe with clean cloth or cotton buds. Chance is, you get your hdd in good working condition. Doesn't always work when hdd is fried. 😁

This is my other gaming pc sporting the same nVidia GTX video
Intel i5-8400, EVGA GTX-980 4gb, Asus mobo with 24gb DDR4 ram
The original Sapphire RX-570 4gb 256bit video, is out of commission with broken fan and needs replacement.
Played some new games at 1080p with RX-570, the 1080p king !!! 😁
