Requirements: The following items must be submitted for the application to be considered for approval-
1) color copy of university id with presentation of original,
2) photocopy of registration form and tuition receipt or statement with presentation of original,
3) first payment (same amount student & professional)
4) color copy of id and pay slip or certificate of employment and proof of bill
ing (if professional)
Agreement & Terms: The following terms and conditions must be agreed and complied with for the lease to be final-
1. (a)Lessee agrees to enter into agreement to lease from lessor IP LAPTOP LEASING SERVICES (hitherto known as IPLLS [and known as ILOILO STUDENT LAPTOP SOLUTIONS on FACEBOOK]) a brand new, warrantied, and fully functioning laptop computer for 6 months or 12 months at agreed monthly rate and payment due date. Upon completion of a 12-month lease, the lessee has the same option to purchase the computer for one peso. (c)Lessee shall be obligated to return the computer to IPLLS upon completion of the lease if un-purchased. (d) Lease signing is final (no returns except in warrantied cases under which software corruption/viruses are not covered)
2. (a)First month(s)’s payment is due on receipt of computer and signing of lease agreement. (b)Payments are due every 30 days thereafter. (c)A late fee of P100 shall be assessed for each 3-day increment past due date.
3. (a)Lessee shall be considered in default/breach of contract if non-communication/non-payment established 15 days past due date upon which recovery efforts will commence and computer must be returned to IPLLS pending resolution. (b)Default lessee’s photo and default circumstances will be published in local newspapers. (c) Legal action will be commenced with a demand letter from an attorney followed by report of estafa to police and filing of charges if demand letter unheeded. (d) Lessee has 30 days to pay all incurred expenses to reclaim unit in default. Unit returned in default will be retained by ISLLS for 30 days until auction.
4. (a)In case of lost/stolen computer in the first 6 months of lease, the lessee agrees to provide a police report and agrees to pay 80% of remaining balance and 70% of remaining balance if lost/stolen in months 7-12. Balance may be paid in whole or monthly payments indicated on contract. (b)Lessee agrees to cooperate with ISLLS in recovering computer including acquiescing to lessor’s contact of co-signor regarding incident.
5. (a)Computer returned in default with significant damage such as but not limited to cracks, shatter, moisture, erosion, yet still functioning, will be assessed P1,000 in damage diagnostic/ repair costs. Same amount shall be added for missing accessories or pieces. (b)Lessees of totally damaged/useless computers will be assessed damages equivalent to 1 month’s lease payment or forfeit refund of security deposit. Failure to pay these damages will result in legal proceedings.
