Today, we celebrate World Lion Day by taking a creative look at one of Disney’s most iconic animated films: The Lion King.

Behind every unforgettable animated world is an army of artists turning imagination into something audiences can see and feel. Andy Gaskill, the film’s Art Director, helped shape the visual direction of a world that became instantly recognizable—from the landscapes and environments to the colors, atmosphere, and overall visual storytelling.

For us at LYNXX, this is the kind of creative work we love studying. Great art is not just about making things look beautiful. It is about creating a world, setting a mood, supporting the story, and making people remember what they saw.

The Lion King reminds us that every visual decision has a purpose. Even the smallest detail can help build a world.

Chapter 1: Done.

Still hard to believe that the little dream, plan, and manifestation we started with is now celebrating its first LYNXX Anniversary.

To everyone who attended our celebration, thank you for choosing to spend this milestone with us. We know we couldn't invite everyone because of our limited budget and location, but please know that every person who has supported, trusted, and believed in LYNXX has a place in this journey.

And that time capsule? We are officially excited and slightly nervous to read everything you wrote on August 8, 2027. Future us better be ready.

Huge thank you to Team LYNXX for organizing the celebration and leading the worship. You turned a simple anniversary gathering into something more meaningful. Because at the end of everything, we always want to keep God at the center of LYNXX.

Thank you, Pastor Pleider L. Delapena , for the beautiful and meaningful message. To Boss RicRayj Saycon , thank you for always taking care of the team and supporting us since the beginning. Shoutout to Bazinga Dumaguete and Dizzy Owl for being part of our celebration.

International Cat Day calls for a little creative trivia.

Yes, the Puma is a big cat, so technically we are celebrating with one of the coolest cats in the branding world. And behind the iconic Puma brand design is Lutz Backes, whose work helped shape a logo that became instantly recognizable across generations.

As creatives, we love looking at designs that prove one simple thing: a strong visual can become a global identity.

International Beer Day calls for a little portfolio flex.

Throwing it back to one of our old packaging projects: a locally sold beer label we had the chance to design. Proof that good design can make even the bottle look like it has its life together.

From concept to label, every detail matters. The Creative Ninjas have been sharpening their skills long before the current missions.
