The system was first launched as "QVID.Sipalay" making it's debut as Sipalay City's Official Contact-Tracing System. QVID is an end to end contact-tracing and mitigation mobile application suite to enforce rapid containment in the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

QVID.Sipalay in action!

Taken during the Special Aid to Individual in Crisis Situation (AICS) of the Department Of Social Welfare and Development(DSWD) last September 4, 2021 at Barangay Gil Montilla covered court. The event was attended by a total of 1,687 individuals from the transportation sector and displaced tourism employees.

LOOK! The first batch has arrived, QVID is on a roll!

8,662 PVC QV.IDs are now being distributed to the 17 barangays of the City of Sipalay. The ID contains the citizen's encrypted offline QR Code which will be utilized for the QVID Contact Tracing System scanning endpoint, tsekpoint.

QVID.Sipalay is a partnership project between ARKITEK and the LGU of Sipalay City.
