We put Paytaca through an AI-assisted security audit using Kimi K3 and DeepSeek V4 Pro — specifically looking for the kinds of wallet vulnerabilities that can put users’ funds at risk.

The good news: we found no weak-entropy flaw in wallet generation. The audit did uncover several issues worth fixing, including how wallet secrets were stored and retained, legacy code that unnecessarily increased attack surface, and insufficient verification when signing smart-contract transactions.

We fixed them. And going forward, every Paytaca pull request will undergo AI-assisted review for potential key-generation and key-handling issues.

If you use Paytaca, please upgrade to Paytaca App v0.26.1, where these security fixes are applied.

Security isn’t something you achieve once. It requires continuously looking for what you might have missed.
