Position Title: Civil Engineer – Telecom Infrastructure Projects
Work Location: Panay Island (Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, Antique)
Employment Type: Full-time, Project-Based with opportunity for regularization
About the Role
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the design validation, supervision, and management of civil works related to telecommunication projects, including tower construction, rooftop installations, site development, and associated structural facilities. The position requires a detail-oriented professional with proven expertise in engineering standards, project supervision, and telecom infrastructure delivery.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with local and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments prior to project ex*****on.
Supervise and monitor civil works for telecommunication towers and facilities, including foundation, tower er****on, fencing, grounding, drainage, Etc.
Review and validate structural and architectural drawings, material submittals, and construction methodologies.
Ensure strict adherence to engineering standards, local building codes, and telecom operator specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, equipment vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project implementation.
Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at all project sites.
Prepare and submit progress reports, quality inspection checklists, and as-built documentation.
Support the telecom rollout team by aligning civil works with tower loading, equipment mounting, and power requirements.
Manage contractor performance, including progress evaluation, compliance with timelines, and corrective actions when needed.
Provide technical expertise in addressing site-specific engineering challenges and propose cost-effective solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
At least 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in telecom tower projects, infrastructure, or related civil works.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and structural design/analysis software.
Strong knowledge of project management principles and construction methodologies.
Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to be assigned across Panay Island project sites and work in a dynamic field environment.
Holder of a valid driver’s license is an advantage.
