Attention, all First-Year Students!

Please be informed that enrollment for the Second Semester ROTC Program at Villaflores College will officially begin on October 26, 2026. All first-year students are required to register at the Department of Military Science and Tactics (DMST) Office.

📋 REQUIREMENTS:

- Black ballpen
- One (1) 2×2 ID picture with a white background, wearing a plain white T-shirt

👨 GROOMING STANDARDS FOR BOYS:

- BS Criminology: 0×1 haircut
- Other Programs: 0×3 haircut
- Mustache must be properly shaved.
- No accessories allowed, including necklaces, earrings, and body piercings.

👩 GROOMING STANDARDS FOR GIRLS:

- Hair must be neat and tidy.
- No makeup allowed.
- No accessories allowed, including necklaces, earrings, and body piercings.

On October 18, 2026, the Villaflores College Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit (VC-ROTCU) successfully conducted its 14th&15th and final training day of the first semester, alongside the Final Examination of the basic cadets. The activities highlighted the cadets’ knowledge, discipline, military skills, and commitment to their training.

🕖 0700H–0800H | Attendance
The basic cadets reported for attendance and prepared for the day's scheduled activities.

📝 0800H–0900H | Final Examination
The basic cadets took their final examination to assess their knowledge and understanding of the lessons covered during the first semester.

🪖 0930H–1100H | M16 R***e Assembly and Disassembly
The basic cadets participated in an assembly and disassembly activity involving the M16 r***e, handled by MSG MARIS V. CABRERA (INF) PA, Admin NCO, emphasizing military knowledge, discipline, and responsible fi***rm handling.

🍽️ 1100H–1255H | Lunch Break
The basic cadets were given time to take their lunch and prepare for the afternoon's activities.

🎖️ 1300H–1600H | Manual of Arms and Military Commands
The basic cadets performed the proper ex*****on of Manual of Arms at the gymnasium, followed by the proper attendance and dismissal, reinforcing precision, coordination, discipline, and military bearing.

As the first semester comes to a close, the VC-ROTCU recognizes the dedication, perseverance, and hard work demonstrated by the basic cadets throughout their training. Every challenge and lesson serves as a foundation for developing responsible leaders and disciplined future reservists.

The first semester may be ending, but the journey toward excellence, leadership, and service continues.

On October 11, 2026, the basic cadets of the Villaflores College Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit successfully conducted their 12th and 13th Training Day, focusing on military discipline, leadership, knowledge, and the proper ex*****on of military commands.

The training started at 0700H to 0900H with a practice of commands and PASAMAHID in preparation for the upcoming Presentation of Sponsor (POS).

At 0915H to 1000H, MSG FERDINAND P. FURTIUTO (Ret) PA discussed the Introduction to Infantry Operations, followed by a discussion on the AFP Mandate, Mission, Functions, and Organization from 1000H to 1100H.

After their lunch break, at 1300H to 1400H, CDT 1LT MARK ARTHUR D. TORRES, 2ND CL, discussed the importance of the Rule of Law, emphasizing the value of discipline, justice, and respect for established laws and regulations.

From 1400H to 1530H, the basic cadets performed the proper ex*****on of the Manual of Arms, further developing their coordination, precision, and military bearing. The training concluded with an attendance check and proper dismissal at 1530H.

Through these continuous training activities, our basic cadets strengthen their knowledge, skills, and discipline as future reservists and responsible citizens.
