A REFORMAT is not a solution for a 6 years old hard drive that is failing and malfunctioning. Specially if the symptoms evidently persist. It needs to be REPLACED.
Prevention is better than cure and it applies on

A combination of scrupulously and tedious tasks that one of our client took for granted. Even our unit hanged for several times and needed to be restarted to response. It took 3 nights to finish the test and repair. HDD test with 3 of the BEST tools to scan, repair and yes it's for FREE even though the client insisted it to be repaired and is not WHAT HE/SHE is asking for the first place. We don't care who you are and where you came from. We are all human and have a family that needs to feed. That is what separates us apart from other tech repair services. We have compassion and humane.

Feel free to criticize our test and do a stare and compare. We are open to feedbacks cause we know feedbacks improves our services. I am proud to say that no other tech repair does thorough analysis and sends updates real time to the client not even APPLE. We are NOT a fly-by-night charity repair center. 🤓

Macbook A1708 has a LCD problem. Have glitches once fold or shutdown, flickering and no display when turned on. Tried to reset SMC, PRAM and NVRAM multiple times, cleaned the internal and check for possible burns or water damage but problem remains.

MacBook response improved after updating the macOS version to Ventura.

Probable cause:
Something heavy hit/bump into the back.

Solution and Recommendation:
Replacement of LCD/ Use a temporary external monitor.

Customer has HHD Problem. BIOS system time is different in real world time. Need to backup all files. HDD for replacement because of faulty hardware. Thank you ma for your trust!
