Kidding aside, ano ba talaga ang pakakaiba ng ₱500 stock earphone sa ₱5,000 entry-level audiophile IEM?

• Driver Tech at Low Distortion: Ang generic earphones ay madaling mag-"breakup" o mag-distort kapag pinalakas mo ang volume. Ang ₱5k IEMs ay gumagamit ng higher-grade drivers (tulad ng Planar Magnetic o Balanced Armatures) para manatiling malinis at buo ang tunog.

• Instrument Separation at Soundstage: Sa ₱500 earphone, madalas naghahalo-halo at nagiging "tunog lata" ang boses, bass, at drums. Sa audiophile setup, may sariling space ang bawat instrumento. Maririnig mo nang malinaw kung nasaan ang gitara, drums, at vocals.
