Reality check. AI is rapidly changing the creative industry I grew up loving. I’ve watched workflows evolved, trends shift, and AI generated designs become part of everyday reality. At first it felt something I had to compete with. I had a funny realization. My name has AI in it too. AIzel. 🤍 AI isn’t there to define me as a creative - it simply became another tool in my creative journey. Because no matter how powerful Artificial Intelligence becomes, it can’t replace curiosity, empathy, discernment, experiences, and the heart and love for every creative decision.

So here’s to embracing change without loosing ourselves. Still a designer. Still learning. Still creating. What defines me isn’t the “AI” in my name. What defines me is the purpose behind my work, the stories I tell, the people I serve, and the Creator who called me to create. 🤍

May 20, 2019, Palaui, Cagayan Valley | Exactly 7 years ago, I stood here in Palaui — under the same blue sky, beside old walls weathered by time, quietly chasing light through my camera lens. 🌊📷

Back then, I didn’t realize these moments would someday become a core memory I’d return to after long days, tired eyes, and endless hours in front of a screen.

These photos brought me back to the version of myself that slowed down, wandered freely, and found joy in simply looking around. 🤍

Maybe this is my reminder:
Take time to pause.
