In a significant development for Pakistan’s Electric Vehicle (EV) market, renowned Chinese e-bike manufacturer Yadea is set to open its first showroom in Lahore.

The showroom, located in Johar Town Lahore, is being opened in collaboration with Road Prince. The opening ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow.

Yadea had previously announced its partnership with Road Prince to manufacture and market electric scooters in Pakistan.

The Chinese e-bike maker aims to establish a network of 3S dealerships across the country as part of this collaboration.

All Yadea electric bikes sold through this partnership will come with a comprehensive 24-month warranty.
As of now, there is no information available about the specific models Yadea will be launching in the Pakistani market and their prices.

This newly introduced feature enables users to pin desired messages for durations of 24 hours, seven days, or 30 days. It is already accessible to some beta testers who have downloaded the latest version from the TestFlight app, with plans to extend the availability to iOS users more broadly over time.

Amazon has introduced a new generative artificial intelligence tool designed to create images that could potentially assist brands in developing lifestyle imagery for enhancing advertising campaigns and creating compelling content.

Currently in the beta phase, this new solution aims to aid businesses of all sizes, especially those lacking in-house capabilities or agency support for generating brand-themed imagery.

Amazon's chief executive, Andy Jassy, mentioned in a post on X (formerly Twitter), "All sellers or brands need to do is upload a product photo and description to quickly create unique lifestyle images that will help customers discover products they love."

According to Amazon, advertising products in a lifestyle setting can result in nearly a 40 percent increase in click-through rates.

AI has significantly improved the efficiency of digital advertising in recent years. However, a March survey conducted by Amazon revealed that almost 75 percent of advertisers unable to build successful campaigns cited challenges in creating advertising creatives and choosing creative formats.

The AI identified 14 acoustic features that distinguish between non-diabetic and Type 2 diabetic individuals, including subtle changes in pitch and vocal intensity that are imperceptible to the human ear. When combined with basic health information like age, s*x, height, and weight, this AI model achieved an 89% accuracy rate for women and 86% for men. This innovative approach could significantly reduce the cost and inconvenience of diagnosing diabetes, traditionally requiring in-person tests.

The AI's potential to transform diabetes screening by using voice data offers an alternative to expensive in-person diagnostic tests, such as the glycated hemoglobin (A1C) test, fasting blood glucose (FBG) test, and oral glucose tolerance tests (OGTT), which necessitate physical visits to healthcare providers. Apple has introduced a new Apple Pencil priced at $79, featuring a concealed USB-C charging port, set to be launched in November. Unlike its predecessors, which required users to plug the pencil into the iPad charging port for charging, this model simplifies the charging process.

This more affordable Apple Pencil is compatible with all USB-C iPads, though it does not offer some of the advanced capabilities found in pricier Apple Pencils.

One notable difference is that it can magnetically attach to the sides of USB-C iPads but lacks wireless charging functionality, a feature present in the $129 second-generation Apple Pencil. Additionally, it does not have pressure sensitivity, a characteristic available in the older $99 Apple Pencil. Consequently, it may be more suitable for individuals primarily interested in note-taking rather than digital artistry.
