How to change Wordpress site address or Domain name?
You can change or update website URL or domain in wordpress by following below steps:
✅ Login into Wordpress Admin panel
✅ Goto Settings > General
✅ Update Wordpress Address and Site Address with your new domain: https://newdomain.com (Please note the domain must be working and pointed to your webhosting account, otherwise you will lost the access to the website)
✅ After that, use Search and Replace plugin : https://lnkd.in/de2Kx3WD and replace all old URLs with new URL as follows:
✅ Write https://olddomain.com/ in Search for input box
✅ Write https://newdomain.com/ in Replace with input box.
✅ Select all tables from below box, by pressing Shift + A
✅ Check dry run checkbox
✅ Press Run Search/Replace button.

This will only run the search without updating the record.
Now, review the tables, uncheck the dry run and press Search/Replace button again.

That's all, your Wordpress domain URL gets updated.
