Important Update for Restaurants in Sindh:
A recent circular issued by the Sindh Revenue Board has introduced changes to the Sindh Sales Tax (SST) on restaurant services, effective from 1st July 2024.
While the standard SST rate has increased from 13% to 15% for taxable services of hotels, motels, guest houses, farmhouses, restaurants, clubs, caterers, and marriage halls and lawns, there is a notable opportunity:
A reduced rate of 8% is now available for payments made through debit/credit cards, mobile wallets, or QR scanning, both online and at retail locations.
To qualify for this reduced rate, restaurants must have a POS system integrated with SRB for real-time reporting. Restaurants need to update their POS systems to comply with these changes and integrate them with SRB for seamless real-time reporting.
Consider OneClick Retail Solution POS: Our POS system is designed to meet SRB integration requirements and is available at a reasonable rate with flexible subscription options.
