Job Title: Assistant IT Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking an Assistant IT Manager to play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our office IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, networking, and services to support our business operations. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from network administration to technical issue resolution and system enhancement.
Responsibilities:
Network Infrastructure Maintenance: Maintain and manage the entire IT network, including hardware, software, and network peripherals, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Data Backup: Regularly perform data backups on both local drives and cloud storage platforms to safeguard critical information.
System Installation and Troubleshooting: Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, email accounts, attendance systems, printers, and cameras to maintain seamless operations.
Firewall Configuration: Configure and manage firewall servers to ensure data security and protect against potential threats.
Maintenance and Upgrades: Plan and execute scheduled maintenance and upgrades to keep systems up-to-date and optimized.
Technical Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly using available resources, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
Equipment Maintenance: Repair and replace IT equipment as necessary to maintain a functional and efficient IT environment.
User Account Setup: Create and manage user accounts for new employees, ensuring timely access to necessary resources.
IT Procurement: Assist in the procurement of IT products, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compatibility.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT management.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
CCNA and MCSA certifications are a plus, demonstrating your technical expertise.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills for addressing technical issues and explaining solutions to non-technical staff.
Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.
