Everyone is saying:
"Claude killed web developers."

As a web agency owner, I find that funny.

Claude can generate a landing page.
It can write code.
It can even build an entire website structure in minutes.

But clients don't hire developers because typing code is hard.

They hire us because they need someone to:

• Understand their business goals
• Turn vague ideas into clear solutions
• Make design decisions that improve conversions
• Balance performance, SEO, accessibility, and user experience
• Manage changing requirements and stakeholder feedback
• Take responsibility when things break

AI is making development faster, and that's a good thing.

The companies that struggle won't be the ones using AI.

They'll be the ones pretending AI doesn't exist.

The future isn't AI vs developers.

It's developers who use AI vs developers who don't.

And trust me, clients are still sending messages like:

"Can we make the logo a little bigger?" 😄

🚀 SEO vs AEO vs GEO: The Future of Search Visibility

Search is evolving fast.

✅ SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
Helps your website rank in Google search results and drive organic traffic.

✅ AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
Optimizes content to appear in AI Overviews, featured snippets, and direct answer boxes.

✅ GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
Focuses on getting your brand and content cited by AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other generative search platforms.

Why It Matters

Users are no longer just clicking links—they're getting answers directly from AI-powered search experiences.

To stay visible in 2026 and beyond, businesses need: • Strong SEO foundations
• Structured, answer-focused content
• Authoritative, citation-worthy information

The winners won't just rank on Google. They'll become the sources AI trusts and references.

The Era of "Just Building WordPress Websites" Is Ending
A few years ago, WordPress development was largely focused on:
• Installing themes
• Customizing templates
• Using page builders like Elementor
• Managing plugins
Today, AI can help generate layouts, write code snippets, and even create complete starter websites within minutes
This raises an important question:
If AI can build a website, where does a WordPress developer create value?
The answer is simple:
By building systems, not just websites.
The developers who will thrive in the coming years are those who can:

Build custom functionality
Integrate APIs and third-party services
Optimize performance at scale
Develop advanced WooCommerce solutions
Create automation workflows
Implement AI-powered features
Design scalable architectures
We're witnessing a shift in the industry.
On one side are developers focused on assembling websites.
On the other are professionals focused on engineering solutions.
And that's where the biggest opportunities are emerging.
AI isn't replacing skilled developers.
It's removing repetitive work and increasing the value of those who can solve complex problems, think strategically, and build systems that businesses depend on.
The future of WordPress isn't about creating pages.
It's about engineering digital solutions that scale.
The question is no longer:
"Can you build a WordPress website?"
The question is:
"Can you build a system that helps a business grow?"

A client came to me for a WordPress website.
I quoted $600.
He said:
“That’s too expensive. I’ll find someone cheaper.” 🙂
He did.
$150. Done in a few days.
He even sent me the website link after it went live… probably to prove a point.
So I opened it.
Slow loading.
Free template with his logo placed on top.
No strategy. No structure. No user flow.
It looked like a website…
but it didn’t work like one. 😬
A few weeks later, he messaged me again.
“Visitors are coming, but nobody is contacting us.”
“The design doesn’t feel professional.”
“The website is slow and people are leaving.”
He asked if I could fix it.
I told him honestly:
“This isn’t a fix job.
This needs to be rebuilt properly from scratch.”
My quote?
$600.
Same price. Same developer. 😄
This time, no negotiation.
We rebuilt everything:
✔ Fast loading speed
✔ Clean modern design
✔ Mobile responsive layout
✔ Clear call-to-actions
✔ Better user experience
✔ SEO-friendly structure
A website designed to turn visitors into actual clients.
And finally…
he got what he needed from day one.
But here’s what the “cheap” website actually cost him:
$150 + $600 = $750
Plus lost time.
Lost visitors.
Lost trust.
And a weak first impression for his business.
Cheap isn’t always affordable.
And quality isn’t expensive when it brings results. 💡
Have you ever seen a client go cheap first and regret it later?
