Enable DHCP
Go to Network / DHCP Settings → turn DHCP = ON.
Set IP Range
Example:
Start IP: 192.168.1.100
End IP: 192.168.1.200
Set Gateway & DNS
Gateway: 192.168.1.1

⭕ What are the OSI Model protocols
⬅️ The grid layer is the third level of the model
➡️ Open Systems Interconnection Model
🔰Its role is to divide the computer network into fake layers (Layers), each layer has its own advantages and functions, which are different from other layers. It is also the layer that provides data routing paths. It is a set of standards for the exchange of information. The ISO model has been introduced, which consists of seven different layers. Each layer of the ISO model has its own protocols and functions. Protocols that use data linking and network layers of OSI only are still popular and OSI is a model that helps explain how data is transferred between devices
⚠️ It symbolizes the seven layers with the saying All People Seem To Need Data Processing by taking the first letter of each word
🔶 What are the 7 stages and their functions
1️⃣ physical layers
⬅️ And you are interested in registering the contact data of (Hardware), which is responsible for sending the data prepared by the higher classes via the sending center
✅ Her protocols
ARP - FIBER
✅ her job
It converts the transmitted data to signals whether these are electrical, light or wireless signals
2️⃣ date link layer
⬅️ She is responsible for maintaining synchronization in sending and receiving data and consists of two departments, namely MAC, Media Access Control, LLC or Logical Link Control
✅ some of her protocols
Wan protocol : ATM- ppp - hdlc - isdn
And protocol: 802.5(ring token) 802.3(ethernet)
✅ and these devices work in this class
(Bridges -Switches)
✅ her job
Determining the best time to send data
3️⃣ Network Layer
⬅️ This class identifies itself as a Logical Address of the parties
✅ Her protocols
IP - IPX
✅ her job
This class chooses the best path between the sender and the future
✅ These devices work in this class
(Routers - Layer 3 Switches)
4️⃣ Session Layer
⬅️ Responsible for opening the communication channels between the user and the other party and responsible for managing and closing the session
✅ Her protocols
SQL - X Windows - NFS
✅ her job
You take a sample from the last part of the data and it is sent from the point where it stops sending - open and manage communication channels

5️⃣ Presentation Layer
⬅️ This class is able to determine the type of future information and sender (text - flash - wave - pdf)
✅ Her protocols
WMV - TIFF - BMP -
✅ her job
Preparing the data to take its own range, including photos, videos, texts, compressed files and decompressing the files next to decompressing and encrypting data
️6️⃣ Transport layer
⬅️ Responsible for managing data transfer (flow control) and error correction (error correction), and then identifying the protocol used in the data transfer process.
✅ Her protocols
TCP - UDP
✅ her job
Determining how to send information either (tcp or udp) - The application class is cooperated with the port placement and control the transfer of data
7️⃣ Application Layer
⬅️ It is a program that works through the computer network, which is the stage in which the user deals with the software interface (browser and software) and transfers files and mail .... الخ
✅ some of her protocols
FTP - talent - DNS - HTTP

VMware ESXi
It is a light operating system that works Hypervisor directly on hardware and turns any actual server into a platform that can run more than an operating system at the same time.
كـ Virtual Machines (VMs).
In other words: you can run such a fake "device" on one real device and each one of them works as if it's completely independent.

I'll tell you its features:
1- Very light and easy to install.
2- It consumes very little resources.
3- High Stability (Uptime Perfect)
4- Strong protection from VMware.
5- You can operate from any browser.
6- You can run Windows, Linux, even testing and testing systems.

- How do you operate it, engineer?
1- Download ESXi from VMware, you will find a free version if you want to try.
2- Burn it on a USB using Rufus for example.
3- Level it on a compatible server or device.
4- After installing, access it from any device via IP.
5- Start operating VMs and install the operating systems that you need.

- Its uses for all categories:
•For companies: Reduce the number of servers, save cost, space and electricity.
•For developers: a robust testing environment.
•For students: Virtual coaching lab.
• For small business: Run more than one service on one device.
• Create Private Cloud inside the company.
- Be mindful ::
I need a Server device with suitable capabilities (RAM and CPU are respected) and depending on what you will install on it.

Confirm your hardware is compatible with VMware

The free version is fine but it has some restrictions like not supporting vCenter

- Why are you starting to learn it?
Because it is one of the most powerful and famous Virtualization systems in the world and its knowledge will open doors to jobs in many companies and you can build an integrated environment for training or management even from home.

- If you want to start or need help, ask me in the comments or send me a private message
And he follows me.

In the Veem program, while I was learning, I found 3 types of backup modes.
_______

1. Forever Incremental

It takes Full Backup once but at the beginning.

After that, all the backups after that are only Incremental.

In order to retrieve data, the program links the first full and the incrementals.

There is no new Full Backup, it takes again automatically (unless manually).

And here it is useful to reduce the use of space
_______

2. Forward Incremental

Taking Full Backup for the first time.

Then he takes Incremental Backups

According to the policy settings, after a certain number of days or copies, the program:

A new Full can work

Delete the old Full (with the incrementals associated with it).

And we will keep the good performance in the recovery because every now and then he makes a new Full.

______

3. Reverse Incremental

First time taking Full Backup.

After this every time a new backup:

Incremental in terms of the updates.

But the program modifies the old Full Backup to remain the latest version.

It retains the differences in Incremental versions that you can refer back to any time in the past.

يعني:

Full is always the latest.

And the incrementals are keeping the old copies (as opposed to the usual way).

And here it is very fast to restore because you always have the last full version ready.
