Job Description Software Developer
1. Develop high-quality software design and architecture facilitating research project data
collection, processing and retrieval.
2. Prepare dynamic website capable of handling multiple users with different users’ rights
and used from different locations.
3. Develop web applications with complicated checks and conditions facilitating different
users’ level functions and flows.
4. Design the software architecture updatable according to the additional needs and
features whenever needed.
5. Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
6. Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
7. Review and debug code
8. Perform validation and verification testing
9. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
10. Document development phases and monitor systems
11. Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
12. This will be a regular position to get inside this growing organization and really make an
impact.
13. Flexible with learning on the job, with corresponding relevant work experience - but, for
this position to be successful, the right candidate needs to know the following, with a
strong self-initiative to learn from others.
14. Having expertise in CMS developing would be an added advantage.
Essential Skill
1. 4-5 years’ experience working with Object Oriented PHP, JQuery, Ajax, and modern PHP
frameworks, MVC: (Codeigniter, Laravel 5)
2. CMS: (Wordpress, Joomla etc.)
3. Databases: (Mysql, Mongodb)
4. Javascript, jQuery, jQuery UI, Ajax, Vue.js
5. Server: Apache, WAMP, XAMP, AWS
6. Source Control: GIT
7. Front End: HTML,HTML5, CSS,CSS3, XML, XSLT, bootstrap
8. Agile methodology: Jira
9. Assist with debugging / development of bug fixes - day-to-day maintenance
10. Development of new features under the guidance of more senior team members.
