𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 – 𝗞𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘀𝘂 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁, took the stage to share Komatsu’s vision for the future of mining and 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 are shaping the industry’s next chapter.

Drawing on more than a century of Komatsu’s innovation, from the 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 in 2008 to over 1,000 autonomous trucks now moving 11.5 billion tonnes worldwide, Michael outlined the four pillars driving 𝗞𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘀𝘂’𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

He also highlighted the strength of 𝗞𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘀𝘂 and 𝗝𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 partnership, spanning 47+ years with over 3,000 machines delivered across Pakistan, including 120+ units supporting SECMC’s landmark mining operation, a testament to what long-term collaboration can achieve.
