3 reasons to get paying customers as an early-stage startup:
..

1/ When you are asking for money for your service, you are automatically receiving trustworthy feedback, as typically your interlocutors tend to be nice as they like you and don't want to offend you

2/ It's a reasonable approach to start full business operations DAY ONE - otherwise, founders tend to spend their time and focus on non-mission critical aspects of their business and ... are wasting lots of time

3/ You are already starting the important process of lead qualification - meaning you are focusing on people who:
- have the problem you're trying to solve (relevancy)
- the problem for them is so important they will pay money to get it solved (importance)
- they want the problem to be solved right now, not somewhere in the future (urgency)

Again - without qualifying your leads - you can waste years of non-important activities early-on, thus - be 10x as productive
