🚀 WordPress 6.9 is almost here!

Both Release Candidate 1 and 2 are now available — bringing the project to its final pre-launch stage before the December 2, 2025 release.

🔧 What’s worth noting?

RC2 introduces a hard string freeze — the build is nearly production-ready.

Improvements focus on UX polish, performance, the command palette, block controls, and updated developer APIs.

🧪 How to test:

Use a staging/testing environment
Check plugin/theme compatibility
Report any bugs you find
