Merchant Payments Ecosystem 2026 in Berlin 🇩🇪 was a blast🔥
What made it unlike any other conference was the warmth and unhurried atmosphere—people taking time to connect, chat, and share smiles.
On top of that, attendees exchanged genuine insights, valuable perspectives, and real expertise.

During Piotr’s roundtable on “The Future of Self-Service Kiosks and Unattended Payment”, Piotr acted as the facilitator, guiding the discussion with a group of expert interlocutors.
Together, they explored what truly sets these User Experiences apart and zeroed in on four essential psychological functions:
1. perceived control,
2. reducing cognitive load,
3. building trust,
4. and handling public pressure.

According to Piotr, Self-Service and Unattended Payment Experiences stand apart because they demand deeper trust, a sense of empowerment, and frictionless autonomy—where the user feels fully in control yet effortlessly guided.
At the roundtable, he emphasized that this psychological foundation—creating a sense of seamless self-reliance—is what truly shapes the future of these experiences. That’s what sets them apart, and that’s what he and his team are preparing for.
