This is the hardest news we’ve ever had to share. Wojtek, our co-founder, mentor and friend passed away on Christmas Eve. For over 20 years, it was a true honor and privilege to work alongside him. Wojtek’s wisdom, leadership and vision were one of a kind. He will be profoundly missed 🖤

Back to London and what an adventure it was!
Emil, Witek, and Adam had the pleasure of meeting Chris Sisserian from Mantaray – an amazing chat over a glass of... apple juice (yep, let’s go with that ). Huge thanks to Chris for the wonderful time!

And that’s not all. Our adventurous trio didn't just meet Paddington Bear, but also snagged some sweets for the team – including Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans from the Harry Potter shop. Trust me, when I accidentally ate a bean that tasted like earthworm, I didn’t believe it either 🤢. Luckily, there was redemption in the form of delicious Gryffindor chocolate .

Oh, and Emil swears he ran into Draco Malfoy, who gifted him a Slytherin Mug - and to be honest? I believe him. So... Gryffindor vs. Slytherin? I sense a friendly competition brewing here!

Busy week for our BEIT crew in London! Emil, Witek, and Adam headed to the Quantum Mechanics in Pharma Meeting — but let's be honest, work wasn’t the only thing on their minds! They bravely embarked on the ultimate quest for the best fish and chips, and believe me - finding a spot without a line is harder than quantum physics (don't tell Emil I said that 🫣). They explored the city, snapping selfies with giant cyborgs, wandering under the beautiful umbrella display at Camden Market, and of course, enjoying a croissant or two along the way.

So we may have missed National Dog Day on August 26th... but honestly, every day is Dog Day at BEIT! Our furry "colleagues" are always here to bring joy (and sometimes a bit of chaos). Whether it's stealing shoes or plopping their heavy heads on our laps during meetings, they're basically part of the team. 🐶

Last Friday, the BEIT team took a well-deserved break and visited the Arcade Museum. We had a great time exploring the classic games and showing off our skills 🎮. Afterward, we went to grab a bite to eat, where the fun continued over good food and great conversation. A highlight of the day was spending good time with our colleagues from the Canadian team.
It was a fantastic way to end the week, filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great company.
