💡 Sometimes what seems "too theoretical" is simply tomorrow’s technology.

2025 Nobel Prize in Physics ⚡

This year’s Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to John Clarke, Michel Devoret, and John Martinis for the discovery of macroscopic quantum tunneling and energy quantization in an electric circuit.

It may sound like a purely academic achievement but its consequences already shape the technologies we use every day.

As AP News notes, the laureates "helped build a bridge between the subatomic world and practical technology" from quantum computers to precision sensors and communication systems.

It’s a great example of how fundamental physics becomes practical engineering influencing the technologies that, in just a few years, may be part of our everyday software and devices.
