BRANDING | The visual identity for ANN BERNAT was created from the need to capture the emotion, sensitivity, and deeply personal nature of her photography.
The starting point was timeless elegance — built not on excess, but on quality, proportion, and a considered approach to typography. The logo is subtle and refined, giving the photography space to speak rather than competing with it.
A distinctive element of the identity is the emblem, which also acts as the founder’s signature. This gives the brand a highly individual, almost intimate character — making the identity feel like an extension of the person behind it.
For me, design always begins with conversation. With getting to know the person, their sensitivity, their perspective, and the way they see the world. Only then is it possible to create a brand that is not simply beautiful, but one that truly reflects who its owner is.
In ANN BERNAT’S case, this meant creating an identity that does not say too much, but allows you to feel more. Quiet, elegant, and personal. One that does not follow passing trends, but remains relevant over time.
Because, much like in emotional photography, in design the most important thing is not always what we notice first.
It is what stays with us afterwards. 💫
