What if learning didn’t require carving out extra time - but happened while you walk, run, or move through your daily routine? 🏃‍️🚗

That idea led to the creation of Academy Talks Podcast, hosted by Patrycja (Head of HR) and Max (Head of Development). Designed to complement Macrix Academy’s meetups and workshops, the podcast offers a flexible, accessible way to learn - one that fits naturally into everyday life.

We opened the series with a focus on soft skills: communication, time management, and day-to-day collaboration. These skills influence how we solve problems, handle challenges, and work together across teams and projects.

At Macrix, we see soft skills as essential to strong teamwork and sustainable growth.

The hidden mechanics behind motivation

In the latest episode: 🎙️ Fixed or Growth? The Mindset That Shapes Your Career, Claudia (Academy Coordinator) and Max Żuchowski take a closer look at how motivation really works - and why long-term growth in IT (and beyond) depends more on mindset and environment than on talent alone.

In this episode, you’ll learn:
Why New Year’s motivation feels powerful - but rarely lasts
How fixed and growth mindsets show up in everyday work
The role environment plays in sustaining motivation
Why small, consistent actions matter more than big resolutions

✨ How did we deliver value in 2025?

Expanded Our Business

We joined forces with our long-standing strategic partner, BSS, to establish the joint venture BSS LogisQ, focused on creating next-generation logistics solutions that combine faster time-to-market with predictable delivery, visual transparency, true modularity, and long-term investment security. Together, we opened the company’s new office in Poznań and reached several critical milestones, including ISO certification, unlocking the next phase of growth.

Stepped Into New Roles

In addition to their previous roles at Macrix, Marcin Krzywulski (COO of Macrix) also took on the role of CEO at BSS LogisQ, and Max Zuchowski (Head of Development at Macrix) assumed the role of Managing Director at RN Vision, strengthening leadership across our growing ecosystem.

Expanded Through New Partnerships

We secured new key projects with our strategic partners and customers across many industries. Among other things, we began delivering a mission-critical warehouse control solution for a major U.S. automotive manufacturer and launched an AI-based recognition system for a major industrial player following a successful PoC in 2024.

Delivered High-Quality Solutions

From Race Navigator to XyronQ, we continued to deliver high-quality engineering, whether on the racetrack or in fast-growing product ecosystems.

By the numbers:
More than 80,000 hours dedicated to client projects,
25,000 hours invested in R&D,
7 ongoing product developments,
14 clients trusting us with mission-critical projects,
17 completed projects across key industries,
27 ongoing projects actively driving change.

Supported Continuous Growth

Coordinated by the Macrix Academy, we held 5 meetups. Our teams shared knowledge through 3 bootcamps and 7 workshops. To recognize our employees’ growth, we granted 6 promotions. Finally, we released 8 editions of our internal newsletter.

Appreciated Our People

We celebrated the 25th anniversary of Macrix, hosted the 4th Macrix Academy Awards (with Olga Piątek named MVP), and marked one 10-year and three 20-year anniversaries across the team.

Brought People Together

More than 20 employee initiatives, from jazz to opera, bowling to cinema, helped strengthen bonds and build a community people truly want to belong to.

Thank you to everyone who made 2025 a year to remember.

XyronQ – A Visual, Layered Approach to Industrial Digitalisation

In complex industrial environments such as automated warehouses, challenges rarely come from a single component.
They arise when physical layout, material movement, process logic, and system communication become difficult to understand and change together.

As system integrators, automation specialists, and domain experts, this is a challenge we encounter every day.
How can changes be made efficiently, and with confidence they will work in the live system?

XyronQ is our solution for designing and evolving warehouse and plant automation environments visually, quickly, and with confidence, built from the perspective of the people who actually design, configure, and bring these systems live.

XyronQ allows us to model warehouse environments as clear, connected layers 🗂️:

Physical: the structure of the facility, equipment, and storage zones
Transport: how materials can move through the environment
Process: operational rules, workflows, and exception handling
Communication: data exchange with external systems and devices

Each layer is defined, visualized, and configured independently, while their relationships remain transparent at all times.

By turning complexity into a shared, visual model, we make systems easier to plan, safer to change, and faster to adapt, resulting in more reliable solutions for the operators and businesses that depend on them.

Why Businesses Love Linux?

Behind many of the digital services we use every day, there’s a quiet powerhouse doing the heavy lifting: Linux. You might not see it, but it’s working around the clock to keep systems running smoothly.

So why do so many businesses rely on it?

✨ Built to grow
Linux is a natural fit for large and fast-growing systems. From data centers to cloud platforms, it handles scale with ease and keeps services running reliably over time.

💡 Smart costs, more control
With no forced per-instance licensing, companies can scale without unexpected costs. Linux can also be adapted and customized, giving teams more freedom to build what they actually need.

🚀 The foundation of modern products
Many cloud services, SaaS platforms, and even Android devices are built on Linux. It quietly powers products across industries, from tech and finance to manufacturing and beyond.

🤝 Consistency that teams appreciate
Using the same platform across development, testing, and production makes collaboration easier and automation smoother.

🌍 Skills you can find anywhere
Linux expertise is widespread, supported by a global ecosystem of vendors, partners, and cloud providers.

Linux helps organizations stay flexible, scalable, and future-ready, which is exactly why it sits at the heart of today’s digital world.

✨ Day 21 already, and we’re getting close to the finish line! With only 3 days left in our Macrix Holiday Calendar and the year coming to an end, we’re excited to share a few more insights with you before we wrap things up.

📖We don’t judge a book by its cover… or do we?

When you pick up a book, how long does it really take to decide whether it’s worth opening? A second? Less?

Now ask yourself the same question about a website or an app.
When someone opens a website or an app, their brain instantly evaluates visual signals, not features. In that first moment, users subconsciously ask:

• Is this trustworthy?
• Is this clear?
• Is this made for me?

These answers come from design elements such as color choices and contrast, the way layouts are structured and spaced, and the typography and visual hierarchy that guide users’ attention across the screen.

Research in psychology and design shows that people rely on visual cues and emotions first, logic second. If the experience feels confusing or overwhelming, users are more likely to leave, even if the product itself is powerful.

This is why strong UI/UX design focuses on:
• Clarity over complexity
• Familiar patterns over novelty
• Comfort and confidence over visual noise

✨ A great first impression doesn’t just look good, it makes users feel safe, understood, and in control from the very first click.

👉 What makes you trust a website instantly?

🎁 Macrix Holiday Calendar – Day 19: Docker

Ever heard someone say, “But it works on my machine…”?

That little sentence has delayed more launches and caused more headaches than we’d like to admit. That’s exactly the kind of problem container technologies like Docker were created to address.

Instead of letting apps behave differently on every computer, Docker packs everything an application needs - code, settings, and tools - into one neat, portable box called a container. The result? What works for developers also works in testing, staging, and production.

✨ Why teams love working with containers (using tools like Docker or others):

· No surprises – the app runs the same everywhere

· Easy setup – spin up full environments in minutes

· Fast & lightweight – start apps in seconds

· Team-friendly – everyone works with the same setup

For developers, this means fewer “environment issues.”
For businesses, it means faster releases and more reliable software.

🚀 This removes friction between ideas and delivery, so teams can focus on building great products, not fixing setup problems.

What Does Responsibility Truly Mean?

The term Corporate Social Responsibility predates modern ESG frameworks. At its core, it is about acting responsibly toward people, society, and the future.

At Macrix, responsibility is not an abstract concept. It shows up in practical actions throughout the year, including:

🔹Supporting children and families through initiatives such as Noble Gift
🔹Helping animal shelters care for animals during the toughest winter months 🐾
🔹Contributing to environmental protection through insect hotels and tree planting 🌱
Supporting sport activities, healthy ... and active lifestyle of our employees.
🔹Engaging our employees in initiatives that strengthen our connection with the community 🤝

What gives these efforts real impact is a simple truth: each of us can do something on our own. Together, we can do far more.

👉 At Macrix, “Corporate Social Responsibility” is a shared commitment that grows with us every year.
