An EU public sector agency needed to move its manually maintained IT System Catalogue from Excel into a structured, sustainable ServiceNow CMDB.

A major transformation program requires much more than the smooth implementation of technology. The person behind the second winning result is Maciej Adamczak, who took on the challenge of leading exactly this kind of initiative. 🥇

Maciej not only had to oversee a ServiceNow implementation for one of our clients, but also help the organization rethink its approach to services and service management. It required consistency, patience, and the ability to win people over to a new way of working.

Thanks to his commitment, the program became more transparent, the relationship with the client grew stronger, and the solutions developed along the way opened the door to further initiatives. You’ll know them by their results… Recently, we told you about “Effects”, our new internal contest where we recognize employees for projects, initiatives, and actions that went beyond a good idea and delivered a concrete outcome. The person behind the first winning result is Agnieszka Palak, one of our three winners. 🏆

Agnieszka took on a challenge where simply keeping an eye on things was nowhere near enough. She brought structure to a major transformation program for one of our clients, while taking care of planning, project management, and communication. There are some forms of team building we keep coming back to with real pleasure. At SPOC, one of them is definitely our company barbecue by the Warta River,🥓 which has been a regular part of our calendar for years.

This time, the occasion was a double one. We had another Company Update behind us, our quarterly business summary,📈 and right after that we moved to the riverside to spend some more time together outside the meeting room and away from our everyday tasks.

After the official part, it was time for less formal conversations and simply spending time together by the Warta.🏖️ That is the format we like most. First the essentials, then the team time.
