🖥️ ST Workshop: Adding graphics to STM32 MCUs usually means dealing with external DDR — extra cost, extra board complexity.
There's a way to skip that.

This Thursday (May 21), STMicroelectronics is running a hands-on online workshop on designing UI applications without external DDR — using STM32 entry-level MCUs, TouchGFX, and a Riverdi display kit as the demo platform.

What's inside:
▪️ Graphics fundamentals on STM32C5 series MCUs
▪️ Memory-saving techniques for entry-level MCUs
▪️ TouchGFX Designer — bitmaps, widgets, templates
▪️ Unboxing NUCLEO-C5A3ZG and connecting it to a Riverdi display board
▪️ Live Q&A with ST application engineers

As ST's Authorized Partner, Riverdi provides the 1.54" display kit used in the hands-on session — already supported in TouchGFX Designer.

📅 Thursday, May 21, 2026 | 9:30–11:00 CEST | Online (EMEA only)

☕ World of Coffee San Diego 2026 — we were there.

Last weekend, our team flew to San Diego for World of Coffee 2026 by Specialty Coffee Association — one of the most important gatherings in the specialty coffee world.

It was an intense day full of conversations, meetings, and insights. What we took away is clear: the coffee machine market is evolving fast, and the expectations around display interfaces are rising with it. Manufacturers are looking for solutions that are more responsive, more customisable, and built to handle real-world conditions — not consumer-grade components.

Exactly what we've been building for over a decade at Riverdi

Big thanks to everyone who took the time to meet with us on-site. The conversations were genuinely valuable and we're already following up on several exciting opportunities.

👥 Team on the ground:
Łukasz Kowalski – Head of Sales & Marketing
Tomasz Soldat – CTO
Mateusz Marek – Key Account Manager

If you're working on a coffee machine project and looking for a reliable display partner — let's talk. 👇

Webinar with Riverdi: this Tuesday!

Join us at 15:00 CEST for a technical session focused on the selection criteria between MCU, GPU, and Linux-based graphics systems.

This will be a concise, 30-min deep dive packed with hard data and side-by-side comparisons to help you optimize your next design.

If you haven't registered yet, you can secure your spot at the link below: https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0t42820

Looking forward to seeing you there.

🎓 RIVERDI WEBINAR: Choosing the right display architecture for embedded systems: MCU, GPU, and Linux

The GUI design process in embedded systems starts with a single question: "can the processor handle it?"

Too often, the choice between a simple MCU-based GUI and a full Linux system is made based on intuition rather than data. This leads to either performance bottlenecks or unnecessary hardware over-specification and higher BOM cost.
In our upcoming 30-min webinar, Maciej Witek will compare three distinct display architectures to help you find the optimal balance.
▶️ Direct MCU-driven systems
▶️ Dedicated GPU solutions (featuring Bridgetek EVE)
▶️ Advanced Linux-based platforms

Date: Tuesday, March 31, 2026, 15:00 CEST.

Registration: https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0sYqck0

Drawing on his background in STM32 firmware development and production-grade hardware validation, Maciej will demonstrate exactly when to scale up your architecture and when a leaner solution is the optimal choice. He will also share a practical framework for comparing memory footprints and driver complexity across these platforms.
