💻✨ Hidden Windows 11 Features You Should Be Using ✨💻

Windows 11 keeps getting better with every update, yet many useful features still fly under the radar. With a few smart tweaks, you can seriously improve your daily workflow — and even your entertainment experience 🎮📊

Here are some lesser-known Windows 11 tricks that can truly change the way you use your PC 👇

🖱️ Instant Desktop Cleanup
Did you know Windows 11 can minimize all other windows with just one movement?
Enable Title bar window shake, grab a window, give it a quick shake — and boom 💥 instant focus on one task.
📍 Settings → System → Multitasking

📱 Your Phone, Right on Your PC
With the Phone Link app, you can connect your smartphone wirelessly to Windows.
✔️ Reply to texts
✔️ Take calls
✔️ Get notifications without touching your phone

Android users get extra perks like photo access, mobile apps running on the desktop, and easy hotspot sharing 🔥

🎯 Focus Without Distractions
Notifications killing your productivity? Windows 11 has built-in Focus Sessions in the Clock app ⏰
Choose your work time (minimum 30 minutes), take automatic breaks, and stay focused without third-party apps 🧠

📡 Project Your Screen To Your PC
Windows 11 can receive screen projections too!
After enabling Wireless Display, you can mirror another PC or Android phone directly onto your screen — and even control it with your keyboard and mouse 🖥️📲

🖱️ Never Lose Your Cursor Again
If your mouse pointer keeps disappearing, switch to the Inverted cursor.
It automatically adapts to light and dark backgrounds, so it’s always visible 👀
📍 Settings → Accessibility → Mouse pointer and touch

🚀 Small changes, big difference. Which feature are you trying first? 👇💬

🖥️ Windows 11 eating your RAM? It might not be your fault

If your RAM usage keeps climbing, fans spin up, and your PC starts slowing down after a few days, the culprit may be Delivery Optimization — a built-in Windows service responsible for distributing system and Microsoft Store updates.

On paper, it’s a smart idea: updates are downloaded not only from Microsoft’s servers but also from other PCs (locally or over the internet), using a P2P-style system. In reality, many users report that the DoSvc process gradually consumes more and more memory, behaving like a classic memory leak.

The system seems fine… at first. Then come micro-stutters, lag, and random slowdowns — especially since most of us rarely reboot anymore and rely on sleep mode instead. Meanwhile, the background service just keeps growing.

No surprise that Microsoft now hints at 16 GB of RAM as the new sensible minimum, while 8 GB is increasingly becoming a problem.

👉 Good news: You can limit or disable Delivery Optimization in Windows Update settings. Updates will still work — they’ll just download directly from Microsoft’s servers. Many users won’t notice any downside, except lower RAM usage.

Windows keeps moving toward a “self-managing” OS. Unfortunately, that also means Microsoft really needs to focus less on optimizing update delivery — and more on optimizing memory usage by system processes.

🤖💻 Windows 11 will ask before AI bots access your files!

A big update is coming to Windows 11 with AI-based agents that can do tasks for you — including working with files on your PC 🗂️. Don’t worry, your private files won’t be shared without your permission! ✅

Microsoft clarified:

🟠 Each AI agent (like Copilot, Analyst, Researcher) will have separate file access permissions 🔒

🟠 You can deny access, allow it once, or allow it permanently ✋

🟠 All settings will be easy to manage in the System Settings ⚙️

⚠️ Important: AI agents are optional — you have to enable them manually. Right now, they’re mainly in preview versions and only work on PCs with the right AI module (NPU).

Microsoft wants AI to help you work smarter, but you stay in control. No surprise sharing of personal files! 🛡️

🔐 Microsoft is finally saying goodbye to RC4 — an encryption algorithm that has been part of Windows for over 25 years 🕰️

After years of criticism from security experts, multiple high-profile corporate breaches, and growing political pressure in the US 🇺🇸, Microsoft has confirmed that RC4 will be disabled by default by mid-2026 on Windows Server domain controllers.

💡 RC4 has been around since 2000, when Active Directory was introduced. Despite its weaknesses being known since the 1990s, it remained a core part of authentication in many large organizations.

⚠️ Why is this a big deal?
RC4 became a favorite target for attackers. Techniques like Kerberoasting allowed cybercriminals to extract encrypted credentials and crack them offline — often with devastating results.

🏥 In 2024, an attack on Ascension, one of the largest healthcare providers in the US, crippled 140 hospitals and exposed medical data of millions of patients. That incident changed the conversation and put serious pressure on Microsoft.

🧠 What’s changing?
✔️ Windows Server (2008+) will now accept AES-SHA1 only by default
❌ RC4 will be disabled unless manually re-enabled by an administrator

🔒 AES is significantly harder to crack — breaking AES-SHA1 hashes can take ~1000x more time and resources compared to RC4-based methods.

⚙️ Admins, take note:
Many networks still rely on legacy systems that only support RC4. Microsoft is urging organizations to audit their infrastructure and has released new KDC logs and PowerShell tools to help detect outdated authentication methods.

⏳ Bottom line:
RC4 is officially becoming history — but organizations still have limited time to prepare. Waiting too long could mean broken systems or security risks.

⚠️ Even the good old Windows 10 can still be broken… 💻

While most of the attention is on Windows 11 and its ongoing issues, Microsoft has managed to introduce a serious problem to Windows 10 as well — even though the system is no longer officially supported.

🔄 The latest December ESU update (KB5071546) contains a bug affecting Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ) — a key service used mainly by enterprise and corporate applications.

❌ What’s the problem?
After installing the update, apps that rely on MSMQ may fail to start or stop working properly. The update changed how MSMQ handles permissions, and in many cases the required write access is missing.

🏢 The good news?
This issue mostly affects work computers in corporate environments. Home users are unlikely to notice anything, since MSMQ isn’t enabled by default.

📢 Microsoft has already confirmed the issue, noting that it can also impact MSMQ clustered environments under heavy load.

🤔 What does this show?
Even a system that’s “past its prime” can still run into trouble. Windows 10 used to be known for stability, but lately Microsoft hasn’t had the best track record with updates — especially when it comes to Windows 11.

⏳ Windows 10 will receive security updates until October 2026, but if you’re part of the ESU program, it might be smart to wait a bit before installing new updates.

👉 Better safe than sorry.

🚨 Windows 11 25H2 is Now Available for Everyone! 🚨

Microsoft has officially rolled out Windows 11 version 25H2 for all eligible devices 🖥️✨. The update, which started appearing in late September and early October 2025, is now fully available.

If you have a compatible Windows 10 or Windows 11 device, you can check for the update by going to:
Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates 🔄. Eligible devices will show the option “Download and install Windows 11 25H2”.

💡 Note: This rollout applies to private computers and laptops, not managed by IT departments, for both Home and Pro editions. Most devices will update automatically, often after a restart 🔄💤.

⚠️ Important: This update doesn’t bring major new features. Microsoft has been focusing on smaller monthly updates via Patch Tuesday instead. And lately, Windows updates have been a bit buggy 😬 — login screen issues, File Explorer flickering, and more.

💭 Advice: To avoid potential problems, consider waiting before installing the update ⏳❌. Many users may benefit from delaying updates until the bugs are sorted.

Stay safe and update smart! 🛡️💻

🛑 This is the end… Windows 10 is slowly leaving the stage! 🛑

📅 October 14, 2025 – a date that will go down in history. On this day, Microsoft will officially end all technical support and security updates for Windows 10.

What does this mean for users?

🔒 No more security updates
After this date, Windows 10 will no longer receive any security patches or fixes. Your data, devices, and privacy will become increasingly vulnerable to hackers, viruses, and other malicious threats.

💬 No technical support from Microsoft
End of support also means you will no longer be able to receive help directly from Microsoft, and newer applications may stop being compatible with Windows 10.

💡 Slower innovation
New features, apps, and software will be developed primarily for Windows 11 (and future systems). This means Windows 10 users will gradually lose access to new technologies and more efficient solutions.

What can you do?

✅ Upgrade your system to Windows 11
