How to find your first job in IT?
The start of the career is very hard, especially in IT, that’s why I decided to create this list of the most crucial things which will help you to land your first job (SAVE IT NOT TO LOSE):
1. 3-5 good personal projects. You should have something to add to your CV, and as you don’t have experience it should be your projects. Don’t forget to publish them somewhere and attach the link to your CV.
2. Technical preparation. The questions in the interview can differ from real-world programming, that’s why you should prepare specifically for the interview, and train tricky questions and topics.
3. Good communication skills. Every company wants to hire not just a good developer, but also a good team player, so make sure you present yourself as an open, confident and positive person.
4. Persistence. You will probably be rejected by the first company that you will apply to. But it doesn’t mean that you should stop applying. Apply as much as you can, keep failing the interviews and learn from it and soon you will get your first offer!
That’s it! Actually, it’s quite possible to find a job in IT and everything is up to you. Good luck and make sure you follow for more tips and IT insights.
