Last week, as we do every year, we joyfully welcomed summer together.
The sun was kind to some, while others were blessed with gentle breezes. ☀️🍃
Nevertheless, it didn't stop us from having a great time and spending some quality time together.

There were plenty of conversations, delicious food, and even a football match.

It's nice to occasionally gather in a larger group.

Do you know what The Central Bank of Hydrogeological Data, commonly known as Bank HYDRO, is?

It is a hydrogeological database that collects information on groundwater. It includes data on sources, chemical composition, wells, and water temperature from all over Poland.

The database is extensive, containing over 400,000 hydrogeological objects. Bank HYDRO is one of the largest spatial databases in Poland, with hundreds of users accessing it daily.

Why are we talking about this?

Our brand, Geosolution, has signed a contract with the Państwowy Instytut Geologiczny - Państwowy Instytut Badawczy (PIG-PIB) to provide maintenance and development support for the applications and databases of the Państwowy Instytut Geologiczny and Państwowy Instytut Badawczy.

As part of this collaboration, our support includes the Hydrogeological Data Processing System, which assists PIG employees in managing Bank HYDRO.

Our partnership will last for two years, and we are proud to have the opportunity to support PIG employees in managing this important database.

Workation is a blend of work and leisure.

Three months ago, we tried it out on Fuerteventura - a perfect mix of work and play, and it was a big hit! Thanks to Wojtek's brilliant initiative, our teams were able to switch up their surroundings and experience a more relaxed yet productive environment. And the best part? It had a super positive effect on our teams!

Dominika even mentioned how much it helped with team bonding and collaboration. People returned relaxed, with receptive mind and full of energy for work. A huge shoutout to Wojtek for coming up with this fantastic idea that we'll definitely be incorporating into our company culture going forward!

Although daily activities are going well with remote work, Women's Day evening reminded us of the great value of meeting in person.

Our team's integration has reached an exceptional level.

We decided to spend some time in a slightly different way to get to know each other better. On International Women's Day, the women in our company gathered to paint while enjoying some wine.

"Lovely energy and dialogue in the room. We had time to talk about future plans, integrate, and take a break from the digital world."

"When I started painting, I was sure I would throw away my work on my way home. After all, I'm not good at painting. However, the result exceeded my expectations. It was beautiful. We had time to unwind, converse, and learn more about each other."

"Meanwhile, we spent our evenings together creatively over wine. It turned out that some of us are true artists. Some concepts started to change during the creation process, and every piece was truly beautiful, above all, unique."

Recently, I got interested in web applications, and I want to learn some practical things about them. In my free time, I like to watch some series - "The Office" lately - or train at the gym. I'm also an F1 fan.

Krzysztof about himself:

👉 Hi, My name is Krzysztof. Husband, father of two kids (5 and 4 years old), living in Wrocław. I have over 10 years of work experience. Technologically, a full stack programmer: c # as backend, creating pipelines for CI/CD and doing some frontend from time to time. Also, I had a chance to work with some exotic technologies?. In my free time, I learn about finances (in practice and theory) and travel around Lower Silesia (sometimes a bit further).

Recently, our Team participated in culinary workshops in Katowice and Wrocław 🍽

We had a chance to work with professional chefs and learn how to prepare unusual, international dishes – it was just another occasion to prove that we make a really good team, not only in terms of IT but also while cooking together! The grand finale of our efforts was a truly royal feast with delicious food, endless conversations and lots of fun🍤🎉

Now, we can honestly say that we are masters of IT and cooking 👩‍🍳👨‍💻
