Feeling Digital

Feeling Digital has received an Epic MegaGrant, and we are starting the production of a new immersive adventure.

Since 2019, Feeling Digital has been collaborating with XR director and producer Georgy Molodtsov to develop a cross-media concept of Under The Pillow, which is inspired by his father's stories. As a result, we co-produced an immersive piece selected for the Cannes XR program in 2021. Also, Georgy was involved in creating a pilot episode of an animated series for children.

With the support of an Epic MegaGrant, Feeling Digital is taking the first steps towards evolving Under The Pillow. We plan to bring new concepts to life and build a vivid world inside an old sofa using Unreal Engine 5.

The Jewelry Treasury, The Sewing Forest, The Drawing Stadium, The Fun Building Machine, and The Great Ferris Wheel are just a few of the locations that are to be produced in the upcoming months. They will be filled with puzzles, challenges, and narration in the next stages of development.

We are going to publish series of development diaries to share our experience with the community.

We'd like to share the concepts of a VR game based on the Under The Pillow story created by Georgy Molodtsov.

It's not the first time when our team dive in this world. As you remember (or don't :) ) The Under The Pillow: Kitten Mormitten project was selected into the Cannes XR lineup in 2021.

Under the Pillow is a story-rich interactive VR adventure for adolescent and adult audiences. Filled with puzzles, challenges and narration that complement each other to form a vivid mixture of the non-linear gameplay and immersion.

Besides programming our team was responsible for creating the photorealistic locations.

The target platform of the project is standalone VR headsets so we should have to keep in mind considerable hardware restrictions. It was hard but fascinating :)
