Falsy Values Conference & Workshops came from the will to bring the latest world front-end industry events and technologies closer to the programmers community. We aim to engage all attendees to actively participate in various initiatives, by meeting people who set directions of web evolution, and to create the atmosphere for sharing thoughts, opinions, knowledge and experience. Falsy Values is a
spin-off of the Front-Trends event, an annual conference (2010-2015) on upcoming trends in the front-end world: from web, mobile and UX design, to more hardcore coding in HTML5, CSS, JS, etc. Falsy Values is a workshop series with more in-depth learning and hands-on education. As its name implies, Falsy Values is dedicated mainly to JavaScript. The last event was held in 2011, with speakers and workshop leaders including Douglas Crockford, Tantek Çelik, Tom Hughes-Croucher, and Juriy “Kangax” Zaytsev.
