Websites have only gotten heavier since then. As technology improves, users expect richer and more personalized user experiences that incorporate various types of media. Simple HTML does not cut it anymore. As a result, the average single page today is larger than a classic video game." 🎮

Today’s large webpage sizes significantly impact loading speeds, especially for mobile users with limited connectivity. Gzip compression can alleviate this, reducing data transfer sizes by up to 70%. 💡

To verify if your site employs compression, you can use developer tools in a browser or services like Gzip Test.

How to enable compression on your website? For Nginx servers, you can do it by modifying the nginx.conf file. Open the file, locate the "Gzip Settings" section, and add:
