The has been the main character of our posts several times, as it is particularly close to us. 🐬

Unfortunately, the current times are not the easiest for him.
The porpoise is one of the endangered species and is under strict conservation in Poland. ❌ 🐳

Out of concern for our "company pet," we decided to join the WWF campaign and adopted a porpoise!

As you already know, the porpoise is similar to several other marine animals, which is why we jokingly called it "Shark".🦈

Now we have officially become business sharks. 💪

There are disputes among BSS employees about which animal appears in our company's logo.

To settle all disputes, we present
the solution to the riddle:

PORPOISE (in Polish: MORŚWIN). 🐬

Why the porpoise? Better Soft Services and the other Better Software Group companies have animals in their logos. The key to the choice was Polish predators, which is why you'll find a hawk 🦅or bear🐻 in other logos.

PS. Despite the fact that the porpoise is a predator, it looks quite cute, check out the photo in the comments. 🐋

Last week we conducted the Grasp AS Ice Bucket Test at our office 🧊🪣

This was not only a test for the Grasp itself, but also for the app we developed, which performed flawlessly during hours of continuous use. 💪

ℹ️ Experimental cold provocation using an ice bucket test is a standardized and well-proven / validated way to inflict cold-triggered pain.

In this study, the participants held the non-dominant hand in a water bath with a constant temperature of 3 degrees Celsius.🌡️

Participants were then asked to indicate pain intensity using the NRS (0-10 numeric scale) or Grasp (squeeze ball) every 9 seconds for up to 110 seconds.⏱️

As you can see below, the event generated a lot of interest, so we had no problem collecting a sufficient number of participants.

We don't always come to the office, but when we do...

At BSS we have been practicing the tradition of Office Thursdays. 🎉

We are an IT company therefore on a daily basis most of us work remotely. 🏠💻 However, every week on Thursday some of us come to the office, which we use to integrate together.

Taking advantage of the location of the office, which is in the center of , we go out to lunch together at our favorite restaurants. 🍕🍝

It may not be a big deal, but for us it proves that we enjoy working with each other. 😊💪

A new edition of company goodies arrived today! 🎁

This time something nice for lovers of pink 🌸, which is featured in our logo (look closely).

Backpacks 🎒and sweatshirts have already been tested, we got feedback that they are comfortable. And from the mugs 🍵 we are already sipping our favorite drinks.

PS. As you can see, Marcin is not only a great IT administrator, but also a model. He is really our hero, he can save from any trouble! 💪

As we have stated before IoT has become a crucial part of the industry. We have given you a couple of examples of its use but one crucial part that we have only slightly discussed previously is the fact of how it all works. 🤔

The Internet Of Things devices collect through numerous sensors which then is processed by several algorithms, many times accompanied by the machine learning and AI systems which analyze the collected information that can be send to the cloud and in result presented and viewed by the medical professionals, significantly shortening the time of actions and lowering the amount of resources that needed to be put into use.
