Vibe Coding – in the world of IT the term may spark divided opinions. Yet we look at it as a modern days innovation - and if responsibly used tool the benefits out weight the cons. Vibe coding lets us quickly validate an idea without overengineering. We can move from concept → demo in hours instead of weeks. Engineers, designers and non-technical stakeholders often think differently - a clickable prototype aligns everyone on the look & feel of the idea and interact with something tangible. A quick prototype can help us to build momentum and confidence around the project. It is then much easier to critique or refine than abstract specs or wireframes whilst it’s not needed to build production-quality code .
The trade-off, of course, is that vibe coding prototypes will usually be messy, brittle, and not production-ready - but that’s the point. They’re disposable artifacts for validating direction.
