Last week we've wrapped up another meeting of our internal workshop, DecodingAI, where members of our team share insights on how they incorporate Artificial Intelligence into their daily work! 😇

Hero Investigates 🕵️: the IT Myths Debunked – our series aimed at revealing the truth behind common IT misunderstandings.

“Custom software projects can be delivered without any bugs or issues”.

It's a common expectation among clients that when they commission a custom software project, the final product will be delivered completely free of bugs or issues. This belief likely stems from the idea that with enough care and expertise, software can be perfected before it reaches the end-user. 🤔

However, the reality of software development is far more complex. No matter how skilled the developers are or how rigorous the testing process is, it's practically impossible to catch every single bug in a software project before release. Software complexity, especially in custom projects tailored to specific needs, introduces myriad variables and interactions that can lead to unforeseen issues. 🙈

What professional IT teams can and do guarantee, is that the software will meet the agreed-upon acceptance criteria and that critical errors which could compromise the software's core functionality are identified and resolved. 🙏 This is achieved through comprehensive testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, among others.

We're back with Decoding AI, our internal series dedicated to the practical use of AI in everyday work! Yesterday marked the first Decoding AI workshop of 2024! 🥳 What's more, it was also the debut of our talented team members, Filip Niedziela and Dima Bohyński.

As usual, we'll share valuable tips and advice from yesterday's lectures. Today, as a preview, here's a little sneak peek of what we learned:

🤖 Filip discussed using ChatGPT in the daily work of a business analyst. He also shared his most useful prompts, among which everyone will surely find something useful.
🤖 Dima demonstrated live coding using GitHub Copilot and, before our eyes, created a cat generator! 😸 This part of the lecture will surely interest those of you looking for a more technological perspective in our series.
