Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Software Sales Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software industry, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients. You will play a pivotal role in driving sales and ensuring that our software solutions meet the unique needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and generate new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients in various industries.
• Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to highlight the features and benefits of our software solutions.
• Engage with decision-makers to understand their business challenges and recommend tailored software solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to understand product offerings, messaging, and market trends.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to close deals and meet sales targets.
• Stay up to date with industry developments, competitor offerings, and new software features.
• Provide timely and accurate sales reports and forecasts to management.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in software sales or technology sales, with a strong understanding of the software industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and engage with clients at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and close deals.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to overcome objections.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and other sales tools.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• A degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience selling SaaS or enterprise software solutions.
• Familiarity with the sales process in the B2B software space.
• Ability to demonstrate a technical understanding of the product’s capabilities.
