We’re proud to share that the Cystack Red Team has discovered a new security vulnerability in , one of the world’s most widely used network protocol analyzers.
The vulnerability was officially published by Wireshark as wnpa-sec-2026-73 and affects the Bluetooth Attribute Protocol dissector.
A specially crafted malformed packet or capture file could cause Wireshark to crash, resulting in a denial-of-service condition.
