WIT participated in an open lecture at the University of Beira Interior, hosted by the Department of Computer Science. 🙌
The session explored how the role of software engineers is evolving in a context where AI tools are generating an increasing share of code. We shared practical examples using Java and Spring Boot, showing how structured context and clear specifications can help transform generic prompts into more accurate, consistent, and reusable code. 💪

At WIT, we believe that lasting impact begins with strong foundations. 🙌 That’s why we are partnering with UNICEF Portugal to support the Growing up Strong Core Package in Mozambique, an integrated, community-based programme focused on the first 1,000 days of a child’s life, a critical window for lifelong health, learning, and development. Each Core Package supports one child through nutrition interventions, improved sanitation and hygiene practices, and the promotion of positive caregiving behaviours. 💙
Since 2018, Run4aChild has brought together more than 1,700 participants, covering millions of kilometres across multiple challenges and supporting projects in several countries. With every 120,000 km goal achieved, WIT makes a donation to help drive meaningful change. 💪
