HealthySystems main objective is to effectively promote security and robustness on its customers Information Systems and Networking Infrastructures. Our products and services include systems security optimizations, level of service agreements certification, database semantic integrity checking and data quality real time monitoring, network services optimization, comprehensive security auditing and
information technology related legal counseling. HealthySystems ( www.hltsys.pt ) is a spin-off company of the University of Porto. We aim to help our customers achieve Healthy Information Systems. Our products and services include optimization of cyber-security systems, the development of security technologies using mobile devices, checking the quality of data in databases and messaging in real time optimization of infrastructure networks, security audits and consulting on performance and data protection laws. The co-founders have extensive experience gained in the study, implementation and evaluation of cyber-security in Information Systems in healthcare. They have several scientific publications in international journals and conferences and book chapters. They are responsible for courses in computer security and are periodically invited to give national and international lectures. In particular, they were invited to preform lectures by invitation in events organized by the Portuguese National Commission for Data Protection (in the European Privacy Day 2013 and 2014 and Spring European Data Protection Authorities Conference in Lisbon 2013), and at the International Conference on Computers, Privacy & Data Protection (CPDP). Our clients include: the Portuguese Ministry of Health in the implementation of security mechanisms for the Electronic Prescription of Drugs, and also several hospitals where audits and computer security improvements were performed. We have experience in the integration of strong authentication mechanisms for web applications involving smartcards (in particular the identification citizen cards - eID), and the use of mobile devices for authentication and delegation of authorization for web applications.
