๐ Prima lucrare a ediศiei UTOPIA a fost finalizatฤ!
Meri the zu - โFemeie ieศind din nisipuri miศcฤtoareโ
UTOPIA lui Meri plaseazฤ o nouฤ eroinฤ รฎn galeria de artฤ urbanฤ a oraศului Bacฤu, rฤsturnรขnd รฎncฤ o datฤ paradigma muzelor ca fฤpturi delicate, cuminศi, care nu-ศi aparศin lor, ci proiecศiilor ศi aศteptฤrilor societฤศii despre identitatea โcorectฤโ a unui personaj feminin. Lucrarea ilustreazฤ o serie de aspiraศii morale ghidate de empatie ศi respect faศฤ de oameni, de naturฤ ศi tot ceea ce ne รฎnconjoarฤ, care sunt urmฤrite cu o convingere militantฤ ce sfideazฤ convenศiile patriarhale legate de rolul femeii รฎn societate.
รntreaga lucrare funcศioneazฤ ca o alegorie plinฤ de simboluri ale celor mai urgente probleme cu care se confruntฤ societatea precum ศi ale soluศiilor prin care efectele devastatoare ale acestora pot fi prevenite. Peisajul deศertic รฎn care este amplasat personajul principal reprezintฤ ameninศฤrile schimbฤrilor climatice รฎn timp ce cioturile de copaci ne spun povestea defriศฤrilor masive care au contribuit la crearea acestui context. รn centrul acestui scenariu determinarea eroinei rฤmรขne neclintitฤ, lupta sa pentru a salva planeta fiind reprezentatฤ prin casca de protecศie. Vulnerabilitatea ei sugeratฤ de ศinuta sumarฤ nu este o slฤbiciune ci dimpotrivฤ faciliteazฤ o conexiune autenticฤ ศi sensibilฤ cu aliaศi fantastici ilustraศi prin personajele canine.
Motivaศiile meschine ale distrugerii ศi violenศei precum setea de dominaศie ศi putere reprezentate prin simbolul tancului sunt umbrite ศi zdrobite sub greutatea unor autentice valori morale ศi etice care derivฤ din armonia cu natura ศi iubirea รฎmpฤrtฤศitฤ cu alte fiinศe.

Meri the Zu - โWoman rising from quicksandโ
Meriโs UTOPIA places a new heroine in the cityโs street art gallery, once more subverting the paradigm of muses as delicate, tame beings that donโt belong to themselves but rather to societyโs projections and expectations of what a female character should represent. The painting illustrates a series of moral aspirations guided by empathy and respect for people, nature, and all that surrounds us, which are followed with militant determination, defying patriarchal conventions about the role of women in society.
The artwork functions as an anecdote full of symbolism that represents the most urgent issues that society is facing, as well as the solutions that could prevent their devastating effects. The desert landscape in which the main character is placed suggests the threat of climate change while the tree stumps tell us the story of the massive deforestation that led to this context. In the center of this scenario, the heroineโs determination remains unflinching, while her fight to save the planet is represented by the helmet she wears. The vulnerability suggested by her revealing outfit is not a weakness, but rather a source of strength that facilitates a sensible and genuine connection with fantastical allies, illustrated by the canine characters.
The petty motivations that lie behind violence and destruction, like the thirst for power and domination, represented here by the symbol of the tank, are transcended and crushed under the weight of authentic moral and ethical values, derived from harmony with nature and love shared with other living beings.
